Help:Wiki Templates

To add an alphabetical index to a page.

• Insert "{{toc}}" where you want the index to be located - usually before the main body of text.
• Use section formatting for each alphabetical character to be included. For example, to create an index, and then include "A" within it, one would type the following text:

• Insert "{{MapLinkNotice}}" where you want the Link Notice to appear.
• Simply type the following text:

  • "Applicant name" is your own name (for which registered users may substitute "~~~"),
  • "Reason" is the reason the page should be deleted, e.g. "This page is for a non-existent player account".
• Simply type the following text:

• Insert "{{Under revision|Editor name}}" at the beginning of the page where "Editor name" identifies the editing user (for which registered users may substitute "~~~" for their own name).
• Simply type the following text:

• Insert "{{Quality review|Applicant name|Reason}}" at the beginning of the page where:
  • "Applicant name" is your own name (for which registered users may substitute "~~~"),
  • "Reason" allows for the identification of specific reasons and areas where quality revisions would help, e.g. "The "Help Template" section needs to be rearranged to match present practices".
• Simply type the following text:

• Insert "{{button|Text}}" where it should appear.

Note: commentary

•  Insert "{{Note|commentary}}" on its own line of the page where it should be inserted,

with "commentary" replaced by the actual comment intended for page readers. Its inclusion in tables can

disrupt the table's layout since it also uses horizontal lines.

•  Simply type the following text:

• Copy and past the following text.
• Edit the corresponding values for the ship or base.
