The Narada is a class of unmanned collector drone which can be built by Scientia class techships for 20 Deflector. Each drone takes 2 ticks to build and comes its energy cells full, however the cells cannot be refilled and when all energy is used the drone is automatically destroyed.

Each drone is capable of collecting a maximum of 140 Deuterium or 120 Iridium Ore, however when its collection capacity is fully used it also uses all energy causing the drone to be destroyed - at this point goods are jettisoned however a small amount are lost, therefore generally using only 19 energy to collect will gain the maximum possible amount of resources - 133 Deuterium or 114 Iridium Ore. The drone can also extract resources from debris fields, being able to extract around 35 integrity from a debris field before being destroyed.

Generally it does not make economic sense to purchase scientias just to produce narada drones since dedicated ore collectors and deuterium tankers are more efficient. However if a player owns a fleet of scientias to, for example, produce dumpis for combat, outside of wartime they can be used to produce narada drones as an additional economic benefit.
