The Patrol Ship is the mobile counterpart of the Subspace Listening Post. Its state-of-the-art sensors allow it to pursue warp signatures left by travelling ships, if they are not older than five days. The Patrol Ship has a reasonably good flight range and LRS range, though some cut backs had to be made on its weaponry in order to fit this much high tech into such a small hull.

As of 24 May 2020 there were 116 Patrol Ships on the EN1 Server.
