Portal Generator

This portal generator is the heart of each Subspace Portal, supported by extremely strong deflectors, it can generate a wormhole. A stable connection can only be guaranteed if the same frequency is used on both transmitter and receiver side. By the widespread use of deflectors and repeated deflector impulses the wormhole can be kept open. The spatial anomaly breaks in on itself as soon as this process is interrupted.
