The Sydney class is the only buildable class of passenger ship. It can be extremely useful for colonists with low internal reputation to populate colonies which don't have sufficient attractiveness to self populate. The Sydney has radiation immunity which is useful to avoid accidentally killing all the passengers aboard flying into a radiation nebula.

The main alternative option to the Sydney is the Sunhawk class which is purchasable for 400 Credits but has space for an additional 35 passengers for 0.5 less ship slots.
