Ice planets are often used for antimatter production.  The large number of [[CoreGap]]s allows for multiple [[Geothermal Power Plant]]s to be built.  Each power plant can power a [[Dual Particle Accelerator]] by itself or a [[Jupiter Station]].  It also has the added bonus of having 2 [[Sorium]] deposits on the planet.
