Wiki Management
"Namespace" is a wiki concept for grouping pages which share a similar purpose. This allows the STNE Wiki to differentiate between game-mechanics pages, player-character's pages, discussion pages, and wiki meta-pages.
The title of a namespace serves as a title prefix for its associated pages; it is separated from particular page titles by a comma. For example, the page entitled Player:Xenon indicates both that the page is associated with the "Player" namespace, and that the page (within that particular grouping) is entitled "Xenon". Without a namespace prefix, a page simply entitled "Xenon" could lead wiki users to a wide variety of content types. Namespacing pages avoids frustrating wiki users by separating distinctively different page types.
Pages lacking a namespace prefix are grouped into the wiki's "mainspace" by default. The STNE-Wiki reserves its mainspace for pages associated with the actual mechanics of playing STNE.

Special pages | -1 | Pages created automatically by the wiki software, which are not directly editable |
Each regular namespace subject is issued an associated discussion namespace which creates a whole series of namespaces on a wiki. One can insert the names of various namespaces into page by either using its assigned variable (e.g. where "x" is replaced by a namespace's assigned variable) or its internally-referenced name (e.g. where "Name" is replaced by a namespace's unique name). A full encoded list is included on the Variables page.
A new page associated with a namespace is simply created and linked just like any "normal" new page - with the exception of its namespace prefix. For a "normal" page, a prefix and colon should not be used within its name. No additional namespaces are permitted in the STNE-Wiki except those already specified.
Subpages
A subpage can be created by using a slash (/) before its page title. For example, Player:Xenon/Teleris would creates subpage named "Teleris" for an existing antecedent page entitled "Xenon". The wiki software automatically creates a link to the antecedent page at the top of the subpage. Thus, our example would place the link Player:Xenon at the beginning of the "Teleris" subpage. These links do not appear, however, if the antecedent pages have not yet been created. The automatic linking function should work just as well in the mainspace area as it does in the namespace-prefixed areas.
