Ship Functions |
Solar Panels provide ships with the ability to generate energy in addition to what is normally generated by their warp core reactor while over a planet.
The amount generated each tick is dependant on the solar levels of the planet the ship is above and on the efficiency of the solar panels (this will be displayed in brackets next to the Solar Panel property on the ship information).
For example a Gathering Station over a desert planet would generate a total of 20 energy per tick, 7 from the base orbital value of a desert planet and another 13 due to the +13 efficiency of its solar panels.
