The Extraction Ship (previously called a Repair Ship) is a class of ship which can be used to extract resources from debris fields. Since extraction is an energy intensive process the extraction ship has relatively EPS capacity and a somewhat high reactor yield for a 2 slot ship.
The extraction ship, like all ships equipped with a wreck extractor is able to repair wrecks, it has a relatively high chance of success, although lower than the Ortygia and Atria class ships it has more chance of successfully repairing a wreck than any ships with extraction items installed.
The main alternative to the extraction ship is the Ortygia which costs 300 Credits and has a larger EPS, main energy capacity and reactor yield for 0.5 slots less. It is also possible to use an Atria for Wreck Extraction or any ships equipped with items such as a Plasma Cutter.
As of May 9, 2020 there were 31 Extraction Ships on the EN1 Server.
