Avatars are a special kind of item which represent a character on a ship or station. Avatars can be used for RP purposes but can also be trained in a chosen area and, when assigned to a ship will improve the ship in that area.
Avatars are purchasable under My Account, Spend, Buy Items. They cost 75 credits per avatar (56 during the discount period) these avatars can be trained to level 1 for free but any further level increases require credits. The maximum level an avatar can reach is level 10, it costs 2025 credits to train an avatar to level 10, on top of the credits to purchase it. Each player can have a maximum of 100 avatars.

Avatar ability's:
None | |
---|---|
Some people simply can not do anything right, others too little, and some wish to be a better person, always looking to the horizon. In this case, however, it is simply of a waste of talent! |
|
Geologist | |
If you find someone who finds stones and rocks more interesting than his own wife, you've found a Geologist. Under no circumstance mention this when he's around, otherwise those stones might be thrown at you! |
|
Weapons Officer | |
Without criticism there is no improvement, and without pressure there is no achievement. If you meet a Weapons Officer, forget both these principles as fast as possible, unless you don't care much for your life... |
|
Reactor Engineer | |
When you hear a Reactor Engineer say the the words 'oops!' or 'uh-oh' before he flees the Engine room, it is time to follow the signs to the escape pods! |
|
Doctor | |
If you are in the bad position and need a Doctor, and he tries to calm you with words like, "This won't hurt a bit," he means by it, it wont hurt HIM to torture you. |
|
Management Officer | |
Should you get to know somebody at the academy that's bored, has no special abilities, only average marks and an overbearing self-confidence, then greet those people friendly, they will probably become a Management Officer! |
|
Defense Tactician | |
The crew are often disturbed by these shifty, paranoid officers, with every creek or groan of the ship, being reacted to like an apocalyptic disaster. When greeting a Defense Tactician it's best to avoid any quick movements! |
|
Transporter Engineer | |
A Transporter Engineer usually has a self imposed belief that he is virtually the same as God, and has the necessity to prove his power at every opportunity, Illustrated best of all by the fate of admiral Archer's prize-winning beagle. |
|
Tactical Officer | |
If one was to rate the crew from a kindergarten age toddler to a professional adult, on a scale from 1-10. One finds that a Tactical Officer is in the negative result area. If he feels that the crew aren't taking an order seriously, he'll remain stubbornly in place, until it is finally carried out! |
|
Deflector Engineer | |
As soon as terrajoules of power are moving through the emitters, there is only hope that the deflector engineer knows what he is doing. Smaller calculation mistakes are always the talk if there isn't enough left from the starship to find out what really happened. |
|
Collector engineer | |
A Collector Engineer is the type of person, from which one assumes he would inhale too much of the material, which they really should have examined. The nonchalant grin and stereotypical apathy dose not really refute these rumours! |
|
Morale Officer | |
To be able to become a Morale Officer it is only needed that you have a sufficiently nice grin and be able to simulate interest in the crew, even when the topic is as interesting as the mating behaviour of Edusian snails! |
|
Science Officer | |
The Science Officer is often the only person who's actual able to understand the computer on a ship. With him, trying to have a conversation is absolutely pointless as he changes even a two word subject, into absolutely incomprehensible stuff! |
|
Maintenance Technician | |
This crew member often looks unbelieving oil-smeared and is armed with either a hyper-spanner or plasma torch as they rage untiringly around the innards of the ship. On no account, NO account do you greet a Maintenance Technician as if it was the first and last time you've met him! |
|
Security Officer | |
The average Security Officer resembles a really good insurance advisor. But Lieutenant Commander Bolboa swears on his MK IV phaser rifle, plasma grenades and a personal shield, since insurance consultants in his opinion, take far too little insurance! |
|
Drone pilot | |
One common feature of every Drone pilot is infantile behaviour. They refute this claim very forcefully at times, but having said that it seems that their quest to fly radio-controlled toys all day, is not too far fetched! |
|
Pilot | |
The Pilot is rarely found anywhere other than the flight deck, where he is usually talking to his fighters personnel or AI, which , like the ship, carries, with virtually no exceptions, a female name. His most difficult decision now is, whom of the two to marry... |
