Tube Grubs

Tube Grubs make up an important part of Ferengi cuisine. It is a collective term for all edible insects found on the planet Ferenginar - the Ferengi home planet. Ferengi will only eat bugs native to Ferenginar and many types such as as the razor back greeworm are considered a delicacy among Ferengi - some of the more common bugs such as the tube grub have specific types of cutlery designed solely for eating them.

Tube Grubs can be obtained from Talaxian Freight Containers dropped by Syndicate or Vidiian ships, purchased for Credits in sets of 10 or 100 at a rate of 10 Credits per bug, traded with other players or found in the debris field of destroyed Ferengi ships. They are also supplied with Ferengi ships on the Christmas Ship Auctions.

Other than trade, the Tube Grubs can be used for rebuilding Ferengi ships which have been previously purchased on the Christmas Ship Auctions and for purchasing tokens in the Talaxian NPC Shop allowing ferengi style reskins to be purchased.
