The Deneva is the dedicated patrol ship of the United Federation of Planets. Its subspace tracking abilities allow it to view warp trails of ships, allowing it to track fleets. The ship class is presumably named after the planet Deneva

The Deneva class more flight range than the settler Patrol Ship class (70 compared to 55) and has vastly superior LRS range (9 compared to 5) making it much better overall for tracking and following fleets.

The ship can only be built by the Federation NPC, however other versions of the Deneva class have been available on the Christmas Ship Auctions with similar stats to the NPC version. The Deneva Refit which has been available on the Post 2016 auctions is equal or superior to the NPC version in every aspect except offensive weaponry.
