Probe

The probe is the ideal spying tool. LRS-and SRS sensors work without energy costs and raises no fighting stick when the aircraft in a sector.

Specifying the flight range 0,2 means that with a 20 percent chance of flight in the next sector consumes a unit of energy. A probe can traverse theoretically up to 50 sectors without energy consumption, it is also possible that the EPS is empty after 10 sectors.

In addition to the settlers, the great powers of quadrant have ships of this type. Probes of the Romulans for example are characterized particularly by its larger EPS, here you can save energy in the backup battery by 20.
