Military vessels are ships designed to fill a military purpose. This includes vessels intended for combat, as well as torpedo transporters. Vessels intended for combat are generally well armed with phasers, disruptors, and/or torpedoes; they also generally have good armour, shields, and hull, for their size. Torpedo transporters, however, are only considered military vessels because they can store large amounts of torpedoes; a good normally used for military purposes.
