Battle Arena: Special Event! 1st April | 3rd Tick

"Come one, come all!"

A prototype assault cruiser has been developed by Kairos Industries, who has put a call out to all settlers across the galaxy to take part in live fire testing. This event is sponsored and organised by Battle Arena Association.

Many can enter, but only one may leave! The lucky settler who defeats all other participants and survives the arena will walk away with the very first Kairos-class starship in the galaxy.

THE SHIP

You are playing for the chance to win your very own Kairos class assault cruiser! The stats of this ship are available to view here.

This ship will be:

The person who survives all other participants and is the last remaining player in the arena will win the ship.

OTHER PRIZES

There will be other prizes to be claimed during this event, dependent on your performance in the arena.

If you kill ONE other participant, you will be entitled to an item of your choice from the list below:

If you kill TWO other participants, you will be entitled to the item and a hologram from the list below:

There is also a prize for the player who destroys the most other participants, which is a holo from the below list:

GAME DYNAMICS IN THE ARENA

  • No treaties will function in the arena, meaning any player can/will attack any player
  • All ships act as though they are at Red Alert, regardless of alert status
  • The map may change during the event, if it appears that the action is slowing down and participants need some prompting
  • Participants may be randomly 'shuffled' around the edges of the map at random intervals, with one tick's notice. Other random events may occur to keep the battle interesting :).
  • There may be some random drops of fuel & items during the event as necessary. These items will be on delivery ships (Silverstar Class) owned by The Battle Arena Association and will free to those who find them first.
  • Everyone will start with a stock of torpedoes, which will not be replaced unless every surviving participant runs out of torpedoes.
  • Players will be dropped at random locations through the map, and every player will gain access to their ship at exactly the same point around 3rd tick on the 1st of April.
  • Players should record their kills on SCN Channel 2004, so that we can track performance and give out the appropriate rewards!
  • All participating ships can be viewed in the 'Light Speed Race' tab under the 'Communication' page.

RULES

There are NO RULES. Any tactic within the defined game mechanics is valid, and you may find others team up. I suggest you think closely who might be a good ally prior to the event...

Note: Anyone found flouting normal game rules will be disqualified from this and any future events
