Ice asteroids are used for Sorium production. It can hold up to 6 Sorium Mines total. Ice asteroids are difficult to power because neither Craters, nor CoreGaps, nor Volcanoes occur on this planet type, and Solar Satellites cannot be used. Because of this, colonists often have to use Warp cores and Fusion Reactors in order to power ice asteroids, making colonists import large amounts of goods.
