A Non-Agression Pact (or NAP) creates the Relationship Status of "Friends" for the Settlers (or Alliances) involved: they cannot attack one other; Ships & Colonies on Alarm Status Red behave as though they were on Yellow alert - which is defensive. However, Beaming does cause automatic defense.

You administrate all treaties in the Diplomacy Overview

Important: NAPs are the only treaties that can be kept secret: they will not be shown in "Relationships" or in "Treaties".

Information: NAPs will be automatically terminated if a Peace Treaty is begun. A Peace Treaty is necessary for Trading and Defence.
