The Plumas Cluster is a group of Ice Planets in the Beta Quadrant controlled by the Roamer Tamblyn Clan. This Rhulan Clan has their central base located on the planet Plumas Maxima with the surrounding planets being controlled remotely. These planets form the basis of the Rhulaner fuel production and under the the administration of the Tamblyn Clan, Plumas has prospered as the years have gone by....
On the surrounding edge of the cluster a Ferengi Portal - buy'ngop - is located. This gate make up part of the Ferengi Gate Network and is linked with a number of other gates within the quadrant and beyond. Also Talaxian Auction Station 52 is located not far away, allowing local settlers to sell there ships using the Talaxian Ship Auctions. On the east side if the cluster a Klingon large gate and colony exist under the control of the House of Lorgh.
