Ferengi will only eat bugs native to their home plannet ferenginar.
Ferenginar bugs are a collective term for all edible iinsects found on plannet ferenginar. These include the native razor-back greeworms. There are no uses for ferenginar bugs other than collection or trade. A single unit of Ferenginar bugs came onboard each Ferengi ship in the christmas period auctions
