Dilithium is the only substance in the known universe, that, due to its crystalline structure, does not react with antimatter. Dilithium is therefore used to control the reaction of matter and antimatter. 1 Dilithium, 2 Antimatter and 2 Deuterium creates 50 warp core capacity.
Dilithium can be mined on almost all planets.
