Deuterium
Deuterium (AKA Deut) is vital to keep ships and colonies powered. It can be created by a Hydrolysis Facility or collected by ships with Bussard Collectors.
Deuterium in space can be found in a 'sparse' or 'dense' Nebula.
Sparse Nebulae contain 3 Deut per energy used. when collected by a tanker, whilst
Dense Nebulae contain 6 Deut per energy used.
Deuterium is also necessary in the reaction of a warp core on most ships.
