If the colony is attacked, each torpedo battery shoots back at the attacking ship, provided there are still torpedoes on the colony. The energy for the shooting is first taken from their own emergency fusion chamber, then from the emergency fusion chambers of the fusion reactors (if available) and then from the EPS of the colony.
The deuterium in the emergency fusion chamber of the torpedo platform is made available in the event of a defense for all active batteries in orbit, regardless of whether the "donating" battery is switched on or off. It is also irrelevant whether the WorkBee space station is on or off. After an attack, each emergency fusion chamber must be refilled individually. The stored deuterium is also not used in the event of an energy shortage in the colony.
