Alliances Overview |
The Last of the Breen are a cannon species of Star Trek, and are members of The Dell Syndicate.
Located mostly in an isolated region of the galaxy they definitely do not stay to themselves. They are constantly out looking for a good raid or a fight. They are well suited for smaller skirmishes and rarely become involved in epic wars. (though not unheard of)
Becoming on of The Last of the Breen thereby joining The Dell Syndicate is generally by invitation only though exceptions are possible in some cases. Members are expected to conform to the cannon characteristics of the Breen race and to participate in alliance wide projects particularly when related to infrastructure of their established territory.
Freighters and scout ships that stray into Breen space commonly vanish. Historically, the Klingons were among the first to discover the consequences of underestimating the Breen. During the Klingon Second Empire, Chancellor Mow'ga ordered an entire fleet of Klingon warships to invade and conquer the Breen homeworld. The fleet never returned and was never heard from again.
Breen RP
The Breen are a mysterious race of warriors whose homeworld was destroyed be severe seismic activity when its elliptical orbit thawed the frozen planet too quickly. The Breen species was nearly wiped out. The last of the Breen set out across the galaxy, eventually allying with The Dell Syndicate
The face of the Breen race itself has never been seen due to helmets they wear which also seem to disguise their voices, translating it into an electronic jumble of sounds.
The suits they wear are environmental suits because their home world is a frozen wasteland, and so the environments of most other races is either lethal or very uncomfortable to them.
They are opportunistic backstabbers but are also heavy into trading. If they can do you wrong to some great benefit, they may very well do it, but generally they maintain a comfortable position in the background.
Breen physiology is among the most exotic for humanoid life forms which may be due, in part, to their home world’s climate. The Breen have no blood or other liquid circulatory system. The structure of their brains make them impervious to telepathic invasion.
They communicate very little to the glaxy outside The Dell in any official capacity. Generally requests or questions go unanswered. It is assumed that they either don't care enough to answer or that they believe in providing as little information about their goals and motivations as possible.
