Class G or Desert Planets are best suited for solar power for obvious reasons, both in orbit and in desert sections (see properties). Although not the best location for Nitrium mining, but there are only 2 planet classes that you can mine Nitrium on.
Class G planets are ideal for power generation to aid in ISO-Chip production.
