The beginners zone (commonly referred to as the Noob Zone) is an area of space in the far corner of the beta quadrant bordering Klingon space. The zone is inaccessible to anyone over level 5 and when players upgrade to level 6 they are relocated out of the beginners zone and into normal colonists space.
There are no Ferengi Traders located within the zone and the vast majority of planets are M class although some other types exist.
