Create your own page

All active STNE players are encouraged to build their own settler page(s) on the wiki. These pages provide an alternate means of showing our players' creativity in expressive roleplay. You can link your own settler page on your in-game Character Description in order to connect it directly to the STNE game environment.

Use your page to better describe the species and characteristics of your people. Provide profiles of the various characters you choose to roleplay, or to list those previously killed-in-action (KIA). Build sub-pages which better describe your love of the game outside of your roleplay persona.

Where to place it

After registering as a wiki user, the wiki software automatically creates a page space for you in our Player namespace. You can edit this page by clicking on its link in our list of registered wiki users. Simply add your own text, and save the results.

You can add sub-pages to your settler page by using a forward slash "/" such as we have done here for this page: Help:Build your own Settler page/sub1. You can create an editable link to your intended sub-page by typing its name into the text of your main page. Click the link, and you will be taken directly into editing mode for your sub-page.

Additional sub-pages can be created with other names, and "sub-sub-pages" can even be created as well: Help:Build your own Settler page/sub1/subsub1.

What to include

We do ask you to include some basic information on your page. Please enter "{{menu}}" on the first line of your page to include our navigation bar. Also enter "[[Category:Players]]" on the last line of your page to include your page in its appropriate category. We also ask that you list your in-game user ID number in the first line of text so we can properly associate your in-game persona with your wiki user name. Everything else is up to you (within reasonable limits, of course).

Advanced features

Once you have created a basic settler page, you will likely want to improve its design and features. You can find plenty of advanced design information within the wiki. Our Community Portal and its associated contributor help pages probably have the information you need in buy essays.
