Space Station

Introduction
A space station is precisely what it implies--a station, in space. All stations, with the exception of the Prototype Shipyard, can be built in any sector of the galaxy, including in lower orbit of a colony. The NX-shipyard can only be built in sectors of space that do not have an existing space station, and cannot be built in lower orbit of a colony.
Constructing a Space Station
Some stations can be constructed by using a tug; other stations must be upgraded from an existing station. There is also one space station, the Gathering Station, which is buildable via a tug, but requires 1750 credits to construct. There are also a few stations, such as a Federation Supply Post, which can only be acquired via the Christmas auctions.
