Volcanoes are the primary energy source on Lava Planets, the only buildings you can build on Volcanoes are Geothermal Power Plants. There are 6 natural Volcanoes on each Lava Planet and 1 artificial one can be created using Tectonics, they only occur on Lava Planets.
