Legal Obligation of all Users
Each User must abide by all legal requirements (e.g., under penal law, youth protection, trademark rights, copyright etc.)!
Authority to Enforce Chat Rules
The Administration has the executive agency
Administrators and Chat Moderators must judge chat violations neutrally and equally for all Users
Administrators and Chat Moderators have the right to interpret the rules at their discretion
General Rules
Sanguinary, aggressive or vulgar language is NOT tolerated and is punished after maximum 3 warnings with a ban. The duration of the ban at the discretion of the Admin/Moderator. Generally, a User's first ban is for a 24-hour period.
All racist or sexist expressions are expressly prohibited. This includes links to websites that contain racist or sexist material.
The deliberate faking of another User's Nickname is punishable after a single warning.
Unsolicited advertising or incoherent self-promotion is expressly unwanted and is punishable by ban.
Publishing or promoting illegal programs or links is expressly prohibited under penalty of ban.
In-game problems must be regulated in-game and must therefore not be handled main chat.
Personal offenses against other Users or NPC are prohibited.
Spam is expressly prohibited and may be punishable without warning.
Administrators/Moderators instruction must be followed!
Joining other server channels (e.g. DE servers) is forbidden!
Guiding Rules
The following rules are non-binding but provide guidance. Any questions as to rule applicability may be directed to an Administrator or Chat Moderator.
Any complaint against an Administrator or Chat Moderator instruction or punishment may be directed towards the Chat Moderator team leader or gamemaster.
All accusations arising from Chat related incidences must be reported in the STNE Forum..
Notice of each ban must be given in the STNE Forum.
Additionally: 1. In case of dispute the Chatmoderation is also a mediator. 2. If the situation dictates the Chatmoderation is allowed to ban a user without any warning. Normally there can be up to 3 warnings before a Moderator bans the user. 3. Apart from this rules, the rules in the Wiki also apply. 4. The normal ban time is 24h. Repeating the offense will increase the ban time.
An offense may be reported to a Chat Moderator through an in-game message, accompanied with a screen shot, where no Moderator is online to enforce Chat Moderation rules herein.
