Player Hcidem joined STNE in November 2010 and started working on its wiki almost immediately. He finds great satisfaction in sharing his increasing knowledge with other players. He also seems to enjoy referring to himself in the third person.
The character Hcidem serves as the interplanetary emissary of his people, the Xoros who follow the dictates of their leader, The Xoros Bechtel.
The Xoros immigrated into the Delta Quadrant as exiles from their home world of Xoros where they had been removed from power through force by a formerly subservient race.
Although apparently familiar with advanced sciences, the Xoros are not familiar with the mechanical technologies they have received by the Federation. They are as children regarding the use of such devices, often misunderstanding the proper uses of the tools they have acquired.
