Chordat class torpedo transporter
This ship is vital for torpedo producers and big military fleets along with the Denison. Without them it would be impossible to transport medium amounts of torpedoes from colony to colony or from a colony to a fleet, to import photon torpedoes in order to create poloron torpedoes and nemisis torpedoes, and it would be extremely hard for torpedo producers to deliver the torpedoes to their customers. The Denison, however, equals or outweighs the Chordat in every aspect but integrity (with the Chordat's 100 hull, 4 armor, and 40 shields to the Denison's 60, 0, and 20, respectively). The Chordat can also carry one more crew than the Denison.
The storage of the colony Base Camp or Colony Headquarters is used up quite quickly. To expand the storage space you can build a Storage Compound. Next to 400 additional storage space, this complex gives you 24 additional EPS-Tanks and thus allows for the construction of more complex buildings.
Scientists

Free population on a planet can be assigned as Scientists, if the planet has a Research Center, Advanced Research Center, or Jupiter Station built and operational. Five (5) Scientists can be assigned for every Research Center and ten (10) Scientists can be assigned for each Advanced Research Center or Jupiter Station. Each Scientist assigned gives the research facility a ten percent chance of producing another Isolinear Chip the next tick change.

For example, Emperor Jacobson decides he wants to assign Scientists to his colony, Targan IV, a water planet with an Advanced Research Center and two Jupiter Stations built. First, he must be sure that the research facilities are online. He activates the Advanced Research Center and one Jupiter Station, Allowing him to assign a maximum of twenty Scientists to that colony. If he assigns two Scientists, there is a twenty percent chance that Targan IV will produce another Isolinear Chip when the next tick changes (not 1/5 of an Isolinear Chip, the colony will only produce whole chips). If he assigns ten Scientists, there is a one hundred percent chance of an Isolinear chip being produced (an extra Chip will be produced next tick, guaranteed). If he assigns fifteen scientists, there is there is a one hundred percent chance of one Isolinear chip being produced next tick, and a fifty percent chance of another Isolinear chip being produced on that tick. If Emperor Jacobson assigns twenty Scientists, it is guaranteed that two Isolinear Chips will be produced at the calculation of the next tick (that is, provided there is enough storage space for them on the colony).
<br>
One of the Favoured scout ships of the game, picked by many players as personal RP ships, but mostly for reconnaissance missions. Lacking firepower the Nova makes up for it in flight range. Unfortuneately this ship dosen't have warp drive or bussard collectors, and is only able to be purchased with credits or constucted by the Federation.

Nova has 100 flight range, It is longest flight range of all settler ships that can have.

So, the overview of it:
* Has longest flight range, that it can reconnaissance and exploration.
* High torpedo dodge (65%).

But on the down side:
* No bussard collectors.
* Small Cargo capacity.
* No Warp drive.
Free population on a planet can be assigned as Scientists, if the planet has a Research Center, Advanced Research Center, or Jupiter Station built and operational. Five Scientists can be assigned for every Research Center and ten Scientists can be assigned for each Advanced Research Center or Jupiter Station.
