-	~~Torpedo Gun~~	+	The [[Torpedo Gun]] is the mobile variant of the [[Torpedo Platform]]. Like any other platform, you can use it to fortify crucial positions, even in deep space. The phaser gun has no flight range but can be transported by other ships, either by towing with a [[Tractor Beam\|tractor beam]] or carrying in the hangar - however its high flight cost and high required hangar slots make moving a fleet of torpedo guns any more than a short distance logistically challenging. The main advantages of the torpedo gun are its relatively low build cost and excellent modularity - they can be converted quickly and with little to no resources to meet new strategic requirements.
