Ships are able to hide in [[Dense Deuterium Nebula|Dense Deuterium Nebulae]] and [[Large Asteroid Field|Large Asteroid Fields]] using a button at the top right of the ship interface. Hiding causes the ships energy emissions to be concealed so that they cannot be detected by [[LRS]] (Long Range Sensors).

Ships require 1 [[energy]] to hide however no additional energy is consumed each tick once hidden. Hidden ships are still visible on the SRS (Short Range Sensors) to ships in the same sector or orbit, however they are completely invisible on the LRS. Hiding causes a [[Battle Tick]].

To stop hiding click "'''Appear'''" on the ship interface or fly out of the sector.
